 Paramose is a very strong solvent based stripper for removing paint, varnish, lacquers etc. It is based on the now restricted dichloromethane formula and is among the strongest paint and varnish removers currently available.
Paramose Stripper is also suitable for use on metal and masonry.
- Strong and fast acting
- Available in water washable (thick) and original (thin) formulations.
- Removes up to 5 layers of paint
- Original dichloromethane based formula
- The Paramose formula will not darken or dry out the timber.
Application :
Apply Paramose Stripper liberally and evenly with a brush, leave for approximately 20 minutes but do not allow the gel to dry.
Remove softened layers of old paint with a scraper or coarse steel wool.
Repeat process if any paint or varnish remains in the timber.
Wash residual stripper off with methylated spirit or water.
Important : protect from frost.

Please Note:
As of 6th December 2011 due to European Regulation No. 276/2010, Paint Strippers containing Dichloromethane (DCM) are only available for sale to Professional Users and used in Industrial Installations.
The use of DCM based paint strippers by Professionals outside industrial installations, ie on site or in workshop premises is only possible after the user has completed and passed a training course that conforms to the requirements of the HSE REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008.
