Morrells 440 Acid Catalysed
High Build Lacquer - 5 litres
 Morrells 440 acid catalysed range gives outstanding build in 2 coats. This very fast drying lacquer is designed for manual or automatic spray application, coat-on-coat. Formulated to provide outstanding resistance to abrasion, wet and dry heat, spirit solutions and a wide range of household chemicals.
Meets the requirements of FIRA Standard 6250: 2005 for horizontal surfaces (excluding kitchen worktops) and rated as Heavy/Severe use.
Catalysed 9 : 1 under normal conditions this lacquer will have a workable pot life of 36 hours. Lacquers of this type achieve their full resistance properties after 21 - 28 days drying, although careful use is possible before this period.
Price includes 500ml catalyst (5CAT/20).
- Touch Dry : 15-20 minutes @ 18 deg.C
- Sandable: 1 hour @ 18 Deg.C. Use 320 or finer silicone carbide paper.
- Recoatable: 1.5 hours @ 18 Deg.C
- Packing time: Overnight minimum, dependent on conditions.
- Coverage : 40 sq. metres per 5 litres approximately
- Thinners : Use 2007/900 HCF Thinners
Typical Finish:
2-3 coats at 75g/m2 per coat (Dry Film Thickness ~ 31μwper coat) applied coat-on-coat.
Using these products in systems outside these guidelines can lead to immediate and latent problems with the integrity of the finish.
