Mylands Pure Gum Turpentine is refined from pine resin to a high quality standard. It is recommended for thinning artist’s oil paint, making wax polish using Liberon Beeswax Blocks, thinning oil-based paints and the general cleaning of oil and grease from most surfaces.
Application Examples :
To thin artist’s oil paint, add a small quantity of Pure Turpentine to the paint on the palette and mix to the
desired consistency.
To make wax polish melt 100 g of Purified Beeswax in a container. Remove from heat and stir in 100 ml of Mylands Pure Turpentine. Pour the liquid into a suitable sealable container (not plastic), seal and allow to cool before use. For a harder polish added 10 g of Liberon Carnauba Wax.
