Morrells Clear MDF Sealer is a high build 32% solids fast drying Precat Sealer specifically formulated for use on MDF substrates. Due to the nature of the solvents utilised this product will not encourage the dissolution of waxes at the MDF surface. Suitable for use under all Morrells clear and pigmented Precatalyst topcoats. Excellent hold-up on MDF edges and easy to sand.
Supplied ready for use (RFU) but can be thinned with the recommended
thinner, Morrells HCF Thinners 2007/900, if required.
Touch Dry: 8-10 minutes @ 18oC
Sandable: 30 minutes @ 18oC. Use 320 Silicone Carbide paper.
Recoatable: 30 minutes minimum @ 18oC
Packing Time: Overnight minimum, dependent on conditions.
Coverage : Approximately 40m2 per 5 litres dependent upon the size, orientation and surface quality of the item being coated.
