Carriage Charges For The UK,
Republic Of Ireland & Channel Islands

Our delivery charges are now based on order weight
- see chart below.

Items weighing up to 1.5 kilos are dispatched via 1st class post, and the rates are the same regardless of location for mainland UK.
Consignments weighing over 1.5 kilos are dispatched via either Fedex or UK Mail carrier for Zones 1/2, or by 2nd class post / parcel post for the rest of the UK.
All carrier consignments are dispatched on an overnight next working day service.
Due the high carrier surcharges for certain area zones (£20 +), it is uneconomical to send heavier consignments via our normal carrier, so the postal service is used for these consignments for zones 3 and 4. The rates are set at approximate cost or below, it is not our policy to profit from carriage charges.

We believe setting rates based on order weight is a fairer system than the previous order sub-total method, whereby very light items of higher value carried a higher delivery charge. Also we are able to supply more remote locations at reasonable cost.

Delivery Charge Discounts

As previously, all orders for customers in zones 1/2 that are £150.00 nett or over will be dispatched overnight free of charge, regardless of order weight.
Customers in zones 3 and 4 will be charged carriage but at a discounted rate (set rate less £6.95).

Overnight Service

A next working day overnight option is available to customers in zones 1/2 where overnight carrier is not the default dispatch method (ie for consignments under 1.5 kilos), and will be displayed on step 3 of the checkout process, together with your order summary and current standard delivery charge. The cost is £5.95 + VAT for next working day delivery, via UK Mail. As stated above, orders valued at £150.00 nett will be dispatched overnight at no charge.
We regret that for customers in zones 3,4,5 & 6 an overnight option is not available for these areas.

Timed overnight deliveries are available for zones 1/2:
By 12am - £6.00 extra
By 10am - £12.00 extra

Delivery FAQ's

Is everything on our web site in stock ?
If received by 2.30pm, orders will be dispatched the same day, subject to stock levels. Goods dispatched via Fedex or Uk Mail carrier should arrive within 1 working day. Postal dispatches are via 1st class service where available and will arrive in the normal postal delivery times.
When can I expect my order ?

What if I'm out when the delivery driver calls ?
Goods dispatched via carrier will need a signature for for security reasons and proof of delivery. If you are not in when the driver calls to deliver your order, a card will be left informing you of the attempted delivery. You may contact the local depot to arrange another delivery date.The carrier may also hold the goods at their local depot for you to arrange collection if convenient. If undelivered goods are not claimed within 7 days, the consignment will be returned to us.
What if my order is damaged ?
Upon receipt of your order we ask you to check the goods immediately to ensure the order is correct and not damaged, as claims for damages or short deliveries cannot be considered unless notified to us within 3 days of the delivery. Any damaged items must be returned to us for inspection, so that we can in turn claim against the carrier for the damage. We will either arrange for the carrier to collect the goods at our expense, or ask you to post the damaged item back to us whereupon we will refund your postage and packing costs. Damaged goods will then be replaced.
Can I send an item back ?
If you want to send a stock item back to us because you have ordered the item incorrectly then please inform us before sending any item back. Upon our agreement send the item back to us at your cost, and as long as the product has not been damaged in transit and still in the original packing we will issue a full credit. Paypal transactions will be refunded less the original Paypal transaction fee.
